There's an interesting article in the current edition of Wired magazine
about two guys who found a bug in the software for Game King VP machines
that (temporarily) netted them hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be available online yet (perhaps
it's available to subscribers only but I wasn't able to track it down).
