RE: [vpFREE] Anyone heard of "Top 100 Club" card at CET properties?

The Horseshoe Hammond has a top 100 group and they have special events such as brunches and dinners.
The events often include drawings for cars or other items such as trips.  My impression is that most members play slots or multi - line VP in the high limit room.  I am not a member!

Subject: [vpFREE] Anyone heard of "Top 100 Club" card at CET properties?

While playing at Horseshoe Bossier, I was sitting beside a young man who was being paid for a W2G hit. His card did not look like a TR card, so I asked about it. It was goldish-tan in color and said "Top 100 Club." He said it was (literally) for the top 100 players at that casino.I asked what that meant. He said that first, it meant he has lost a lot of money there. But that he got pretty much anything he wanted when visiting there - rooms, meals, shows, special events, and free play. I forgot exactly how much his free play is, but a few hundred $ each week.

He only lives about an hour away, so I got the impression he comes there frequently. And he said he was also a 7 Star, but he acted like 7 Star was nothing compared to being in the "Top 100 Club."

When I asked what software he uses to practice vp, he was not aware that there was such a thing. Said he practices in the casino. And then after watching him play for a bit, I realized he was not a "savvy gambler" - as the Flusher would say.

So after watching his play and his unlimited bennies he kept putting in, I think I figured out why he is in a "special club." Just curious if anyone else has heard of the "Top 100 Club?"
