In replying, I think that Don the Dentist was confused about some
things. The base game with a 4000 coin RF payout has a $2000 jackpot. A
rough rule of thumb for JOB-like games is that each 5% increase in the
RF payout adds about .11% to the game's expectation. The 7/5 BP base
game has an expected payback of 98.01%. The estimated jackpot breakeven
point on your game would thus be $3809. With a $5000 jackpot, the
estimated payback is 101.31%. The Wizard of Odds' calculator says the
exact number is 101.53%. So that's a good one. With a jackpot of this
size, a few strategy adjustments would be in order. Again, the Wizard
of Odds has a calculator that can give you a full adjusted strategy,
which shouldn't be too hard to interpret for a game with a simple
strategy like bonus poker.
