Re: [vpFREE] Hosts and Comps question

If you are going to play your normal coin in at hotel B then you shouldn't have a problem. If it were me I'd take the time that I would be playing at hotel B and try a new hotel that you might want to add to your list of playable hotels. You can never have too many good places to play.

Subject: [vpFREE] Hosts and Comps question

I've been playing VP for over 10 years and have been receiving free stay and related comp offerings for the past 5 years. I now have a host at 4 different Vegas hotels. I have an etiquette/strategy question.

If I am staying at Hotel A, where I have a host and have met my coin in requirements and I decide to go gamble at Hotel B, where I also have a host, but am not staying on a comp, what is the proper etiquette/strategy?

Should I use my player card, thereby announcing to the host at Hotel B that I am willing to gamble at his property without a comp stay? Or should I try and fly under the radar and not use my player card? Of course this tactic goes out the window if I hit a reportable jackpot.

Surely others on here have experience with this situation.
What do you do?

Appreciate any and all feedback
