this was at Meadows in Pa. Actually it was State Police who called the person who took left $$. Pennsylvania is actually gaming control. If your a gaming officer you are employed by cops.
A person related story: It's funny when someone is causing fuss. Along comes security guard in uniform. Many will give security a problem, as they most times can't arrest. If it get worse a suit shows. Then sometime the bad guy gets worst. He doesn't realize the suit is cop. My friend says every time this has happened , when the trooper shows his badge, the bad guy wimps out. He thinks its funny.
I don't know Pa law as to whats legal on not. As for me, for a couple hundred bucks, if a cop calls me i'll wimp out . I have a feeling that police have a rule that gives them the right to hassle us. I have heard that say if one finds a wallet its not a problem if taking wallet to turn in. But keep it and somewhere along line it becomes stolen property. Again I don't know rules.
