Just back and had no problem for new player (my husband) to get match of his free play coupon from elsewhere (Biloxi ms, and we could keep coupon) of $375 and two nights in ordinary room. Only thing was to get the extra 50% match would mean playing 7000 or more points. I couldn't get a straight answer on hoe much play it would be, but I think a lot. Each machine has a different countdown. On single line 9/5 DDB progressive (a coin dropper of all things, but sometimes the royal is high), countdown was about 35-40 (I didn't pay super attention to it once I realized we would never reach 7000) to get 1 point, so if u are doing this offer, you may very well never get the 50%bonus.
However the Golden Nugget is pretty generous in comps, and later mailings may include free play, and there is some cash back from play. You will also get mailers for tournaments and so on from your play for doing this offer.
