I noted in a post last August that you can also request a "Wage and Income Transcript", which will detail all tax related documents on file with the IRS.
As Sylvia notes, casinos have until July to provide documents to the IRS, so this is best handled through filing an extension in April, and then requesting the transcript in mid-August.
Formerly, the transcript could only be requested in person at a field office, or via phone call. There was no means to request it online. However, I now see that you can obtain an immediate download of the transcript from the IRS website.
