Noticed the $.50 cent and $1 Ultimate X machines in high roller room have had DDB downgraded to 9/5. They've added a bunch of quarter machines in there too, sorry, I didn't check the paytables of them. Despite downgrade I won $6000 on 9/5 DDB during long long play. I started keeping track of wins versus loses on Ultimate X after having some major wins....I dont normally play Ultimate X, and so far it is strangely 50-50, plus a few draws. Far better than my win/loss average for VP or slots (of course).
I spoke to a new manager at Palms and their old marketing director, Sherri, is gone. There have been some other management shakeups. Let's hope they improve marketing. (like some of those bad gifts)
Gift card days for Dec. are Mon, Wed., Fri., Visa cards and a few others. But why the HUGE disparity between slot and VP play. For $100 card, 3500 points slot, 45,000 VP -that is more than 10 to 1! Let's assume I'm playing a DDB machine with about 2 % advantage for the house, does this mean a slot has 20% house advantage? Doesn't make sense to me....
Also Megabytes pulls are now Power Pulls good on some (but not all machines). only Mon and Wed. though.... Seemed like the Palms wasn't as busy on Friday....could it be just lack of that pull on Friday or just an odd slow day?
