I said I stayed at the GN I didn't say I gambled there. I never gambled at all at the GN. True there is nothing to play. I played at Four Queens, El Cortez (a lady had the single DDW machine tied up) and pickum at the Freemont. I was disappointed that the Golden Gate didn't have $5 BJ. i really like the place but don't feel comfortable playing $10 a hand.
As far as picking another game, I'm playing the one that gives me the best EV. I'm just going to hang in there and hope I get lucky. BTW the last Royal was on a Texas Holdem machine at Binions. Went back to play the next time and they took them out. I ended up buying them. Have one in my basement now.
I'm going to put it up for sale soon, I doubt if there is another one in existence.

Personally I'll take the Palms over GN 100 days out of 100. Hell, I'll take the 4 Queens next door over GN 100 days out of 100.

At check out they did take the coupon.I tried the $20 trick upgrade at checkin at the Palms to no avail.I think I'm through with the Palms as it seemed no one was concerned about your happiness.The Red Rock sent me free rooms for December, but so far nothing for Jan when we are coming again.I hit Dueces once, but never drew on 4 to a Royal and the drought continues since 1995.
