Well, this must be a function of the "neo" groups transition, but when I follow that link, I don't even see a way to request to join the group - just the "About" page that is blank and says "You need to be a member to perform this action." Oy.
It's actually been several months since I originally requested to join. A month ago I emailed the moderator to nicely ask if he/she could process me into the group, and I haven't gotten a response. I just don't know what I am doing wrong.
On a positive note, on my last trip to AC, I finally hit a royal flush after a very long dry spell. I had just downloaded some free play at the Borgata and held a JQ. I hardly expected that to turn into a royal, but there it was! Sadly, I was only playing quarters since I had just arrived and was just getting warmed up. Still, any royal is a great royal.
Cheers!

This is the link to the group. Maybe this can help.

This was brought up in the last month or two - apparently there is a vpfree-affiliated group for Atlantic City. I've applied a few times, sent a message to the group admin asking if I needed to provide any specific info to be admitted, etc., all to no avail.
I'm disappointed. I've found the VP community to be so generous in sharing insights, perspectives and even the "secrets" of the best machines via the database. I've really enjoyed being part of the community, even if I'm a part-timer and can only contribute a bit. When I can, I know I'll "give back."
So I guess I'm wondering if others are having the same issue about AC specifically and if there is a call for building a new AC group that won't be so exclusive. Obviously would rather be part of the existing group, but perhaps that's just not "in the cards."
Thanks for your thoughts!
