[vpFREE] Vp playing style (speed)

The main reason for playing fast is if you are in positive situation. If you are playing 9/6 JB for example with .04 in free play, the total will theoretically be over 100%, so the faster you play, the more you would theoretically win. But if you are say playing 9/6 with no free play, your theoretical win is under 100%, so no sense in playing super fast. No one (except maybe Bob Dancer) is a perfect player, and for most people, the faster you play, the more mistakes you are going to make. If the amount of your theoretical win including comps and free play (or mailed coupons) is going to be positive, then it MIGHT be worthwhile to worry about learning to play faster or playing on two machines. But the more you play, the more bankroll you'll need to. For the average player, trying to play faster to increase potential winnings is probably not worth worrying about.

Another way to put more money through a machine (which is what u are doing by playing fast), is to increase the denomination you are playing, or play a multiline machine - go from single line to 3 play for example, go from 3 to 5, 5 to 10, etc. Again, you will need a higher bankroll. This might be a better alternative than worrying about speed, because your error rate won't go up.

Another factor to remember is the more you play, the more you will hit w2g jackpots. Hitting them will slow your game back down as you stop to collect, and may cause more IRS problems. If you are only playing 25 cent single line anyway, just how much could you be winning per hour anyway? So increasing your speed isn't really going to do a lot anyway for most people.
