[vpFREE] Re: Did I figure this correctly

Nice jackpots Rod,
May I suggest you trip report on the VPFREE New England daughterboard?
Planning to go to the joint this weekend but it's a long ride from my place in Porter. Will sign up for player's card using Porter residence if they let me.

My neighbors go "more than a couple of times." With the purchase by Churchill Downs it may get interesting. They have both stand-alone and resort style operations.
Their (self aggrandizing) wiki says:

"Churchill Downs Incorporated is the parent company of Churchill Downs. The company owns several other thoroughbred and standardbred racetracks...The company acquired Harlow's Casino Resort in Greenville, Mississippi in December 2010 for $138 million.[2] In October 2012, the company acquired the Riverwalk Casino and Hotel in Vicksburg, Mississippi for $141 million.
In December 2012, a joint venture of Churchill Downs and Delaware North Companies bought Lebanon Raceway in Lebanon, Ohio for $60 million. Ohio had recently authorized slot machines at racetracks, which the companies planned to take advantage of by transferring the racing license to a new $215-million facility to be built between Cincinnati and Dayton.
In March 2013, Churchill Downs agreed to buy the Oxford Casino in Oxford, Maine for $160 million...The company is the most profitable track owner in the horse racing industry. The company is not plagued by the losses of other similar companies such as Magna Entertainment Corporation. The company is widely considered to be looking at acquiring more tracks in the future..."

As you may know, Massachusetts is on it's way to ~3 casino-resort style operations and several class II racinos. New Hampshire at least one mega-resort on MA border. Oxford may bring something in Conway to table.

Surprised at number of my neighbors going a number of times to Oxford. It's 50 miles and takes well over an hour on unpleasant country roads according to google maps.

I changed machines and decided to switch to triple double bonus. Suddenly I was dealt 4 kings and then amazingly a few hands later dealt aces with a kicker for $2,000.00! The machine locked up. After the 2 hour 20x points, I had 175.00 in FP.. It was a great few hours and I bankrolled my winnings for a LV trip on August 21-28. I'll be at GVR, if you'd like to meet for a drink, please let me know as I will be along for the first part of my trip. Rod
