Another thing they have changed is that Platinum card holders get 3x points all the time and Entourage get 2x. For now you have to swipe before playing to get this. Slot club lady told me that if there is a casino-wide multiplier (like the 5x on Sundays and Mondays in April), you get the higher of the two multipliers, not both.
