This is very interesting. I didn't realize it at the time, but now see that someone tried to do this to me at Planet Hollywood last year. Luckily, I felt like the guy was scamming me (especially when he told me that he was up millions and didn't need any money, but just wanted to help others beat the casinos) and thus did not take him up on his "free tutoring". He was trying to get me to move to an Ultimate X machine and was going to show me the pattern to beat the machine, but I refused and am glad that I did.
