I'm no expert on the Mlife program, but I'll take a stab at this
hoping others will correct and add to what I write.
I don't think there's anything equivalent to DIAD at the MGM
properties. And no free shows just for having a certain card level,
but you can get show tickets by using either Express Comps or the
additional comps you can get from a host.
The qualifying period for the card levels is Oct 1 - Sept 30 and
whatever card level you earn during that year is good till Sept 30 of
the following year. For example, whatever status you earn during
10/1/12-9/30/13 will be good through 9/30/14.
You probably already looked at the tier benefits for each card level,
so you already know which ones get line passes and priority valet
service and restaurant reservations. If not they are here
https://www.mlife.com/pages/tier_benefits_las_vegas.html
Overall, I'd say that the Las Vegas MGM properties have better video
poker than the Caesars properties, so you should have no problem
finding games to play at $1 or higher.
