This lady from all accounts lost a LOT more than $13million net. And while her comps and "freebies" might make for compelling discussion to quarter, dollar, & five dollar players, to her I'm sure they meant nothing more than free food and rooms in-between getting her frenzied play in at the high limit machines. What's more interesting I think is how many of us have seen this lady as she was digging her big hole.
This story tops the Bill Bennett one in my opinion, because he never lost anything he didn't have. I also don't see why this journalist is being labeled irresponsible. What's the big deal--someone got a billion dollars in W2G's, and she lost millions overall. That's the story, not if the reporter understands the game.
