RE: [vpFREE] Re: Williams my poker

I haven't
seen the live version, but I did examine what they had at the G2E Gaming Show
recently.

The boxes
are more comfortable to play at than the IGT boxes. Different body types may
not fit so well, but it's worth checking out.

For otherwise the
same pay schedule, WMS pays 275 for a straight flush rather than 250. This adds
about 0.05%. It's hard to get excited about this amount --- but still, every
little bit adds up.

They have a
large number of options on how you see the cards. Most are worthless, in my
opinion. The two options that seem most useful to me are sorting by rank (high-to-low
either right-to-left or left-to-right) and they have a couple of 4-color suit
options that might make it easier to differentiate clubs from spades or
diamonds from hearts. Using both a sort option and a 4-color option together
would make 3-card straight flushes, for example, much more obvious than they
are now. That alone could easily improve someone's accuracy because they would
"blink" fewer such combinations. And it would be easier to see if
they had 1 or 2 gaps if they were in sequential order.

Harrah's (nationally
and Las Vegas Strip) and Station Casinos (Las Vegas local) are purported to
have a 6 month exclusive on the game. After that, expect to see it everywhere.
