My recent experience was on the newer Game King machines in the high limit
area. I do recall some years ago that the auto hold at Barona was
notoriously flawed. It seems to be much better now in terms of correct play holds
(at least on JOB).

You did not want to use "auto hold" on the older uprights.
You could use it, but you had to correct many hands. The
"newer/lower" Game Kings machines has an auto hold feature
that seemed very accurate. Maybe those old uprights are now
gone. This difference was observed while playing $1 9/6 JoB
on both type of machines.
