Liam Daily did more than any other nominee to help me (and probably many others) become better players. Liam Daily's insight and explanation about how to classify three card straight flushes into just four categories (i.e. SF3+1, SF3+0, SF3-1 and SF3-2) is an outstanding contribution to the theory of how to rank vp hands and is a valuable asset for anyone who wants to play perfectly.
Others may have thought of something similar but Liam Daily explained the theory and he (and Bob) publicized it and made it accessible to everyone. I 100% agree. He's in my personal Hall of Fame. He was a very private guy and few people here ever met him, other than me. For that reason, I don't think he will ever get the 33% of the votes required and a vote for him is "wasted" because he can't possibly be elected. (The same is probably true of Hans Lund. Mickey has endorsed him whole-heartedly, but few voters ever knew him and most of us tend to vote for somebody we know or is prominently known. It sounds like Tuna is HOF-worthy, I don't think he has a chance either.) That is why I'm voting for Ernie Moody, who invented Triple Play. We all KNOW what he did and it affected all of our playing careers. Bob
