Far more. People gamble for all sorts of reasons, but if you are interested in the bottom line, you tend to discount the value of comps heavily... sometimes to zero. I haven't played LVH in many years, but at one time it was a very nice opportunity. Best CB rate in the area. Strong bounce. Great inventory with a few extra friendly machines. Easy comps and other free crap.
I was driving by a local casino the other day and noticed a billboard touting their notoriously bad buffet, "Free" after earning X# points. I had some fun calculating what it would be worth for me not to have to eat that buffet as I passed. How many points would I be willing to earn?
