I do agree with the "power of nice" and a smile can often get more than a
demanding rude argument.
However, when one shares their experience on the internet, it's just that,
their experience, an experience that can be interpreted in many ways.
Unless one is with the OP at the time the OP's experience occurs, how does one
really know what occurred? Whether I or you or anyone else agrees with
the OP, the OP is writing about their feelings and what they felt about the
situation.
