Hedy and I are going to make our first visit to the Revel in AC this
weekend and we have a few questions that we hope the members of these boards can
answer.
First of all, we were wondering how the "play up to your tier" promotion
works. Since we can show them our Seven Star cards from Harrah's we're
expecting to get their Tier 4 card and the accompanying $750 free play, but we're
told that you only get $250 of that on your first visit and then get the
balance on a subsequent visit. Is that right? Do you get it in the form of a
voucher/coupon or is it downloaded with a pin number at the machine of
your choice?
We're guessing that the inventory of $1 and up 9/6 JOB machines is still
intact (10-14 machines, we're told) and that 9/6 DDB is still available on
certain machines at $2 and up. Is that right? Can anyone give us a quick
description of where they can be found?
Also, we've heard some good things about their restaurants, particularly
Lugo's. Any other suggestions? For instance, a good coffee-shop type place
for breakfast. And the rooms. We're told they're very high-tech and
comfortable. Any thoughts about them?
Thanks in advance for any help/insights you can offer. We're really
thinking that Revel could become our primary backup casino in AC since we hardly
ever visit Borgata any more and get very little in the way of offers from
them.
