Guess that explains why I have not received July, August, September, free night coupons. CR has been a good place to get a free night room on the strip for years and years. Guess it is all gone now. Thanks for the memories CR. As the Beatles would say "Yesterday came suddenly."

Subject: [vpFREE] Casino Royale Eliminates Free Play
Just got back from a three week trip and stopped as I always do in June at
Casino Royale for the monthly coupons. Received my $50 Free Play along
with the worthless penny slot coupons. A year or two ago Casino Royale
eliminated the monthly video poker coupons (bonuses for certain 4 of a kinds)
and replaced them with coupons good for jackpots on penny slots. Played my
normal play on the 5 play video poker.
I stopped back this past Saturday a few days before I was to leave for home
to pick up my July coupons and free play. The boothling went through the
normal procedures and then handed me my coupon sheet stating "take this to
the promotional machines." I told her I get Free Play and not play on the
promotional machines and she said that is all they are offering this
month. The coupon sheet had the other usual worthless crap on it, free luggage
tag, penny slot coupons, etc. I ripped up the sheet right in front of her
and left. I came back a few minutes later and talked to the boothling
supervisor who told me that it was Casino Manager Becky Bracken's decision to
eliminate Free Play this month and gave some excuse about not having enough
rooms to offer???? Does that make any sense to anyone? I don't stay
there just stop in and play on each trip and usually try to use some of my
hundreds of dollars of built up comps for a meal at the Outback Steakhouse.
I tried calling the Executive Manager of the entire casino, Juan Garcia,
and spoke to his secretary who assured me that I would be contacted back
before I left. No one ever called. I tried calling a second time but got the
same response.
I will be back at Casino Royale on my future trips to use of my comps. and
if offered, play any free play one time through and cash out. Once my
comps are used up I won't set foot in the place again.
Betsy Bracken has to be one of the dumbest casino managers around.
