If we're talking about 15/9 Deuces, sometimes the 3 card straight flush (open) beats the pair. It's a very close call either way. Hold the pair with an adjacent straight penalty, or when the pair itself forms any straight penalty (like '987'55). Otherwise hold the straight flush draw.
