You really have to check out the wizards analysis. Yeah, the average bonus 
 times multiplier , be it forward or back is 4.01 but...
 a. dealt super bonus on dealt royal if multiplier ( this is rare, and adds 
 little to the total payback ).
 b. forward multiplier
 c. backward ( on draw ) multiplier
 d. additive multiplier ( its possible to get 10X on draw + 10X on deal = 20 
 X for a hand ).
 thus wizard is absolutely correct in stating you get a .5 ( on average ) 
 better EV for the seven coin bet over just 5 coins.
