Why is it every time I go to a Harrahs casino lately I freeze? At New Orleans during the summer I froze in the casino and the hotel lobby. An employee told me they were keeping it cold to kill the germs. If so, they are sadly mistaken, because germs need 32 degree F to die. Keeping a casino at 60-65 degrees only kills the patrons patience.
Just was in Atlantic City, now it is in the 50s outside, and no heat apparently in the casino.
Obviously not everyone may like it as warm as I do, but here in Vegas at places like the Palms or Venetian or wherever, I can gamble comfortably just wearing a t shirt or blouse etc on top with my slacks.
In these Harrahs properties I wore a top, and a jacket or sweater over that, and was still freezing, to the point that I had to put on a third layer of another sweater or shirt.
I looked around in Nola and in the summer all the women wore jackets or sweaters over blouses. in AC people were keeping on their coats inside after coming in from the cold, or wearing two layers.
If any woman wore one of those skimpy fashions now often seen in Vegas at nightclubs or just during the day they would have frozen to death.
Harrahs personnel at these casinos wear suits and long jackets, maybe they don't notice that the temperatures are uncomfortably cold for gamblers who sit still at machines. I don't know, but I do know the freezoid conditions have been getting worse in the last two-three years, and it's always at a Harrahs property, so it can't be a coincidence.
Argh.
[vpFREE] Doesn't any Harrahs heat or air condition correctly?
