You should probably read the whole article so you can appreciate the context the following quote was made in. I got a kick out of it, and I'm pretty sure I understand what Bob was saying.

"Many successful gamblers adopt an "Aw shucks" kind of demeanor which disguises whatever intelligence they possess."
