I was at the Plaza today. The place is definitely better looking than before the remodel as you can see from the photos in the above news article.
Many of the landmarks have not changed. The cashier, sportsbook and players club are still where they used to be. And the bingo room is already going strong on the 3rd floor. Hash House A Go Go will open 8/31.
Many of the video poker and slot machines were still out of service today. I recognized some of the machines they had before they closed and they have added some new ones.
I looked at all the video poker machines that were in service and not being played. Unfortunately I only found three machines with video poker above 99%. Maybe there will be more decent games on the newer machines.
