Yes, the same 1099-GA requirements apply no matter what denomination you are playing. That said, a few months ago I saw a reference in one of the Bellagio's quarterly promo offer mags that they were close to instituting some new patent- or gaming commission approval-pending technology/capability that would allow players to self-service their jackpots in the Hi Limit area. Don't recall that it gave a lot of (or maybe any) details but it certainly sounded like something I haven't seen before.
