I drove right past the road to Pauma yesterday on the way to Harrahs Rincon and didn't think to stop. It would be no trouble at all next time to look around to report any changes. But I don't play there regularly or know anyone who does.
On a side note, I wanted to report that Harrahs Rincon has an unadvertised "special" that might benefit some players. They offer ARCO gas cards at the Total Rewards desk. It is the same 2-for-1 exchange rate as the Shell cards in the TR catalogue and at the Great Gift Wrapup. So, 5,000 Reward Credits will get you a $25 gas card.
The advantage of an ARCO card is generally lower pump prices than Shell, plus the Rincon TR desk has those ARCO cards immediately available. You don't have to place an order and wait.
Nevertheless, the best gas for comps value in the area remains at Pechanga where it is dollar-for-dollar. $60 in your Pechanga comp balance will get you a full $60 in gas. And that's a fill-up today, at least, if not tomorrow.
