i was dealt a spade royal on a one-line dollar machine. then i moved to
10-line quick quads (no, not full pay, but i enjoy the game) and hit four
more individual .25 royals. 5 royals in 4 hours.*

*the weekend before, in biloxi, i was waiting for my slot tournament time so
i was playing 10-line ultimate x (which i very rarely play, but these
machines are right at the bottom of the escalator). i was playing ddb and
was dealt AAA33. i discarded the pair and drew an ace--on five lines out of
ten. whew. one with kicker, one doubled, etc., came to $1700. about 3 hands
later i hit another quad aces with kicker, then about 5 minutes later, a 2X
royal. *
