Here's the Jakes Jacks that I played at Gold River (later River Palms) in Laughlin from 1997 until 2002. I can't remember if the SF had a meter. There were a couple of slant top banks on the casino floor and a bartop bank in the room where the bandstand is above and behind the bar.
The game was a combination of Bonus Poker and Double Double Jackpot (without kickers). At least that's the best way I can describe the game.
PAYSCALE
RF.............800+ .5% meter
SF............. 50
Four Jacks......80+ .25% meter
Four A,K,Q's....40+ .25% meter
Four 2-Tens.....25+ .25% meter
FH.............. 7
FL.............. 5
ST.............. 3
2P.............. 2
HP.............. 1
Until about 2000 or so I got .33% cashback Saturday thru Wednesday. .666% on Thursdays and 1% on Fridays. Plus I got a mailer every month that had four 2-day hotel packages. I pretty much only played the Jakes Jacks when the Royal was up....or if I found a quad meter out of whack.
Most of the time the FPDW was the better play. And for awile they had the Williams early surrender video blackjack that came in about 100.4%.
