Re: [vpFREE] "Jake's Jacks" or Aces and faces

This game is otherwise known  as Aces & Faces.   The full pay version is 8/5 BP
with the bonus quads being the paint cards plus aces instead of 2,3,4's.

There were dozens of them at Binions in former days.  According to vpFREE2, they are all gone now.  I assume that they were called "Jake's Jacks" because
Jack Binion owned Binion's Horseshoe in the past.

The FP version is  still are available at the Atlantis, in Reno, in 5 or 10 coin quarter denom.  The 10 coin version also has a RF prog. which re-sets at $2K.

They used to be available in Tunica and Biloxi,  at the Grand Casinos, BEFORE HET took over those venues.

I like BP but much prefer A&F because the EV is a bit higher due to the strategy.  Since single high cards, which can be converted to bonus quads,  will normally be held in A&F, but single 2s,3s or 4s are not held in BP, you will see slightly more  bonus quad  production in A&F.

Double Aces and Faces is also a fun game.  It's essentially DDB  with quad face cards being the bonus quads.  The FP version is 9/7/5, with 1-1 return for two pair.

a bit at the Gold River in Laughlin and at Binion's in Las Vegas.

It was Bonus Poker with 200 coins for quad K's,Q's and J's
instead of 2's, 3's and 4's.  As in Bonus Poker it was 400
for quad A's.

G'luck all,
