I'm sorry to hear they are closing that restaurant - it was good food at reasonable prices, likely not what the new place will be.  For that fabulous eggplant hot pot, try Cathay House, which was the original restaurant in the coffee shop.

[vpFREE] I had to laugh...

 

Today's copy of the Vegas Review Journal says that the Palms will close its Fortunes restaurant (in the back of the Cafe) because it is opening a new Chinese restaurant at the end of the month (in the space where our beloved Little Buddah used to be).

But the new restaurant' name is
Lao Sze Chuan

Immediately I started laughing. LOUSY SHWAN I announced to my husband. (My husband says I'm thinking in English not Chinese...but come on.....is it me or is this an awful name! I'm still laughing....)
