[vpFREE] XVP - Belmont Result

 

Hi Gang:
I, like everyone else, was shocked and disappointed when I'll Have Another
had to be scratched the day before the Belmont Stakes ending his quest to
become the 12th Triple Crown winner in history. But, the race certainly was
an exciting one and put an exclamation point on an excellent Triple Crown
series this year. All three races were won in the final stages and,
hopefully, will give racing the boost it so dearly needs.

LVA Question of the Day - 11 JUN 2012

Q: In a recent issue of Time magazine, there's a picture of
"Old Vegas". It's titled Sin City, circa 1955, and it's from
the Life.com gallery of pictures. I recognize the Golden
Nugget but not much else. Seems to me the GN should be on
the right side of the picture. Can you help identify the
other casinos/signs in the picture? Thank you.
