I don't have any personal knowledge about Gateway Casinos, but their website lists their Alberta and British Columbia casinos in case anyone here knows about their video poker -

Apparently they are not taking over all the Ontario casinos according to this press release -

Apparently this large western (Canada) company is taking over the OLG Casinos at end of May, 2017. Does anyone have experience with the properties they're running out west? Just got back from playing 7/5 DDB (the best game in the house, currently, with OLG running it)--will things get worse (tightened up) under the new ownership??

    When were they changed to 10/7?

    They were changed sometime on Friday 4/21 and reported on vpFREE the same day. The paytables were changed back in the early morning hours of Wed 4/26.

    In effect there were 4+ full days to play 10/7 DB with $8 coin-in per point.

When a known player (i.e. me) is not playing on the bank of four 10/7 DB machines, but is sitting at the bar playing, it is noticed.     I wonder what the settlement was.  It could be more than $160 million because of the possibility of punitive damages or it could be less because of the possibility of appeals.  I had no idea that a person's earning potential was that relevant to these cases.
