There are no Boyd properties in Kansas City, however, they did recently acquire rights to operate the state owned casino in Wichita, Kansas (they have not yet converted to BConnected).   Sam's Town, KC, went under many years ago.   Harrah's bought them out and closed it just to be rid of the competition.

It's old info, but from what I recall..Onyx was only given to people who put in 1M tier credits per year, and I THIIINK only given out in the Mid-West Boyd properties (Kansas City or St. Louis, one of those)

A comment on that YT Video...In watching it, it ALMOST looks like it's been edited to have the camera undercranked, but it's too hard to tell if it's just chop in the video and it loses it's "fluidity" because from what it LOOKS like, is his hands SHAKE (which I can understand, as that's how I type faster than 100wpm; by not physically STRKING the key, but shaking my finger to apply enough pressure to hit the key).

But it just looks too "jerky"...

Also...why play, even to earn $50 an hour? If you're that smart..get a job that pays that and allows you to not "really" work...nuff said.

Informal serious survey on QQ

For those that were following this thread a couple of weeks ago:

update of my play since:

25c, 10 hand, FP DDB QQ

My results in about the last year...particularly last 3 - 4 months, extremely bad\

about 30,000 dealt hands w/o a dealt 4OAK.  Update, I had 1 (not 2,3,4,A) 2 weeks ago, but I suspect I'm at least 5 to 6 cycles behind

Few dealt QQ, but getting them very occasionally (not $1K 4OAK tho)

I was 1/19 for filling A's when dealt 3 A's, now 5/32, so still about 8 cycles behind by my calculation

3 smaller W's early Jan...none since.

 

Ill. gaming called today.  They pulled & tested machine chips about 3 weeks ago, but had not gotten back to me as they said they would until I called them again.  They said all tested good (as I had suspected as they were still in play after the date I heard they had shut them down..  Say there's no more they can do. 

Dancer's newsletter a week ago about accepting losses may have been prompted by my thread, but it certainly spoke to it.  What am I going to do now?  Probably keep playing for time being & keep track of my results a little closer.  No, Bob, I'm not "having fun"...not when you play the am't I do w/ the results I've been getting.
