the trop in AC gives more cashback+comps than all others in nj-the "coach/big windbag wants to win EVERYTIME he gambles-let him stay at ceasars props,that 7 stars he got must cost him 10's of thousands a year. At the trop I have not paid for anything(rooms,food+free gifts)for years and they treat me great....coach keep giving your $$$ to ceasars~sucker~

RF cycles are the same for single line and multiline. However, it's more likely that you'll suffer a drought in multiline. The opposite side of that coin is that it's also more likely that you'll hit multiple royals within a limited span of hands.

The obvious factor behind this is that multiple hands are sourced from a single deal. This makes strings of unusually good or bad outcomes more likely in multiplay.

On single-play deuces (FPDW, NSUD, and DDW), I have played about 220,000 hands since my last royal.  On last week's Vegas trip, I played  the 50 play NSUD @ South Point for a few hours after attending Bob Dancer's VP classes.  I hit 3 royals on 42,000 hands (10,500 points earned X 4 because I played all 50 lines of $.05 NSUD).  My 50 play total hands is about 120,000 hands, all @ SP.
 
Based on Tom Ski's figures (from VPFREE site), an average royal cycle on the deuces games I play should occur between 43,500 - 45,300 hands.  My question is - does the royal average equate to 50 play or are there separate averages for multi-play games?  I know variance is slightly less on multi-play games and would like to know if the RF cycle average also differs.  If there is a cycle difference, what is the frequency on 50 line NSUD?  Also, what is the formula that I can use to compute RF cycles on multi-play games?

I don't get it. I don't see what the problem is. Sounds like a pretty decent promo to me. You said it was a hassle and time consuming, I think I would go through what you did for 150 bucks. What am I missing?

[vpFREE] A New Venture

 


Hi Gang:
In a previous post I mentioned that Hedy and I have been busy working on a
couple of projects and I'm happy to announce that one of them, my new
website, Tomthebombpicks.com, has left the launching pad. We think the members
of these boards will enjoy browsing through its contents.
It includes a video poker primer for beginners (Beating the House), a
section on sports betting, a series of racing articles that I've had published
and a blog called "The Bomb's Blog," which will chronicle significant
events leading up to the Kentucky Derby, and beyond.
The site also will now house the trip reports that, to this point, I've
enjoyed posting on the three forums to which I belong. It will also contain
my selections for the Triple Crown races. Check it out. We think you'll like
it.

ATM fees should be a consideration for VP players who will make strategy changes to gain an extra penny or two.

If you aren't cashing a check or accessing a line of credit, then ATM fees can add up. In most cases you are looking at around $3-5 a withdrawal. It makes a serious dent in your overall expected return.

If you are a "regular" you should already know where the better (meaning lower fee) ATMs are. The original post says that Barona charges no fee, which is best of all. At Pechanga, the ATM fee inside the casino is $4. But if you get your cash at the gas station right outside then you pay only $1.50. In Palm Springs you'll pay more inside the Spa casino than if you simply walk across the street and make your withdrawal inside the hotel. And so forth.

You should also explore options within your own bank. My credit union reimburses all ATM fees up to $4. So, while savings returns are a paultry .75% at least I feel like I"m getting some additional benefit from the bank's use of my funds.

This past weekend, some friends and us had heard about it and it sounded
pretty good. The offer was "show us a free play coupon that was mailed to you
by another casino and we'll double it." The offer was good for new players
and for those that had been inactive for 13 months or more. The offer also
stated that the Trop would give you back your coupons so you wouldn't lose
them.
Since Hedy and I had a pair of $75 Harrah's coupons good for this past
Saturday we figured this was a good way to get $300 worth of free play out of
the Trop.
We drove over with our two friends (who also had Harrah's coupons) and
went to the Diamond Club card center.
"Oh, I'm sorry," we were told. "The coupons had to be attached to the
mailer you received. If they are detached, we can't honor them."
We argued that this was ridiculous. That nowhere in the offer did it state
that this was necessary and that nine out of 10 people pull these coupons
out of the booklet when they receive them and throw away all the other
extraneous material.

and got the OK to honor our coupons.
Then, we were told that we had to play and accumulate two points on our
