[vpFREE] LVA Question of the Day - 31 OCT 2011
LVA Question of the Day - 31 OCT 2011
Q: What went wrong at the Tropicana? For a while everything
was looking so positive after the big renovations. But
lately all the news has been negative. Nikki Beach is gone,
the Mob Experience is bust, Brad Garrett is leaving, Gladys
Knight is gone, and the president left. What happened? How
did it all go from so good to so bad?

LVA Question of the Day - 30 OCT 2011
Q: Re the recent question on chips - is it legal to sell
unused chips? For example, I know someone with a $50 chip
from Ceasars, I give him $40 for it and take it to Vegas.
Any clouds on that horizon? Thank you. PS - years ago you
guys had a pregnant iguana in your offices - whatever
happened to iguanettes?

Re: [vpFREE] XVP How to get Bellagio to heat crab legs
Re Bellagio,
(1) fill up your plate with the crab legs
(2) take them to the station wher they serve mussels
(3) ask one of the attendants to heat them up
(4) wait about 5 or so minutes
(5) Enjoy !!!!!!
I will be in LV in mid November and definitely have crab legs at least 3 times. :-)
Bob

Using Wikipedia as a source of tax information is... scary!
IRC addresses this issue, it's called "constructive receipt."

RE: [vpFREE] Re: MATH Question----3 Card Poker
I am suspect sharks have a way around it but is this game not dealt by an
automatic shuffler which counts all 52 cards after the players and dealer
get theirs but before the hand is played? I also would hope the eye in the
sky always has this table in view.

With that kind of money on the table, it's almost a guarantee that cheating
is involved. Watch this sidebet hit a few more times more than predicted
before Harrah's/Caesar's or whoever their backer is gets wise and pulls the
plug. It's too easy to cheat hand dealt card games, that's why the smart
casinos don't put up big side bets, at least not with their own money.
Progressive side bets and bad beats are funded by the customers so the
casinos aren't that concerned about cheating.

regular lotto is 6 out of 52 which is exactly the same as getting 6 specific
cards out of a 52 card deck. The IL lottery shows the odds as 1:10,179,260
since you get two picks for a $1 play. ( You cannot buy a 50c lotto play in
IL.)
