No. See vpFREE2.com. It appears to have the correct inventory, at least as of this afternoon.

Got a similar hit on Friday at 4 Winds in New Buffalo - playing DDB 10 hands and got 4 aces w/kicker dealt to me - mostly with 4x and 3x mulitipliers for a $2,700 hand paid jackpot or 54,000 nickels.  I was happy!

Hmm that kinda fits the mindset of a lazy flea. I would rather hold a real equal paying job in the real world than to sit on my ass all day at a video poker machine worrying about the math, comps and whether the play would still be there the next day. Never mind that most full time players I meet are obese, smell, are very messy, rude and are anti social to the extreme sense. At least a fast food job is usually stable, provides benefits for full time employees and can lead to corporate careers paying a decent salary. There was a time and may still be opportunities for high stakes play but those people usually have something else going on besides playing VP all day.

You can sneer at these people, but they're playing for $8 an hour because very few better opportunities exist, and when something decent DOES rear its head, it's swarmed on and instantly killed by many of the "pros" who sneer at those same "fleas". And 0.01/hand is still better than $7.35/hr at Death in the Box.

Just after they put in the Ultimate X machines at the Eastside Cannery a couple of years ago, some lady playing ten-play DDB got a pat full house, which lit up all ten 12X multipliers, then got dealt a pat royal. She was playing .02 denomination, so each royal was worth $960--total, $9600. The E-Can's response was to immediately downgrade all the paytables on those machines. (For some reason, a dealt royal on a multi-line game gives existential angst to slot managers, so this one must have made rectums explode. "A TEN GRAND JACKPOT ON A TWO CENT MACHINE???? FIND THE BASTARD WHO BROUGHT THESE IN HERE AND HAVE HIS INTERNAL ORGANS RIPPED OUT!!!!" "That was you, sir.")

Re: [vpFREE] Re: More sad news from the Palms

Yes, I think the herds of trendy, inebriated youngsters do have enough
money. You don't think they make money from the FPDW players, do you
really?

You have to wonder about the mindset of a group of suits that are so actively trying to drive away their customers. Do they really think that the drunken frat boy crowd (which is the only group for which the Palms will retain any appeal whatsoever) has enough money to keep the place afloat?

Yes, but nothing that makes it worthwhile. After 6-7 hours for 2 straight nights of $.50 and (mostly) $1 play on VP, I received $40 of RR the next month.

Gold Coast?
Didn't they take out FPDW a long time ago?

RE: [vpFREE] Re: Bad Tidings from the Palms

This is not a surprise. I'm shocked it didn't happen sooner. With Wynn making millions with nothing playable, it's not a gamble for Caesar's to follow the same path.

Does anybody know if there was even more carnage ? so far...

$1 10/7 progs --> $1 9/7 progs

25c FPDW - GONE

ALL the good 25C games up front GONE including loose deuce, jokers, 10/6

DDB, 10/7 DB

I guess this means that the Gold Coast will be extra crowded now with AP

players .
