I was there today and found the "$1/$2 BP 3/5/10 play outside high limit" with the 8/5 paytable just fine. As a matter of fact, I found four of them, not just one, very near the entrance to the high limit room.
They have faceplates that change every few seconds alternating between "Triple Play", "Three/Five Play" and "Ten Play". This could have thrown you off.
Also they have 25c and 50c games on them but these have lower paytables. Be sure to select $1 or $2 on the menu to see the paytables for those denominations.
If you cannot find these, you can play $1/$2 8/5 BP on the 100 play, Spin Poker or Triple Spin Poker machines. You can play 3/5/10 lines or any number of lines on them and still get the full 4000 coin payout for the royal.
